מעיינות חמים Loutra Hot spring

לא מזמן אמא ואבא שלי סיפרו לנו שיש מעיינות חמים Loutra Thermopilon בלמינה לא רחוק מאיפה שאנחנו גרים.

חיכינו ליום שמשי כי לא ידענו אם באמת המים יהיו חמים כי בחוץ ממש קררר בערך 10 מעלות. בדרך ראינו מלא אדים לבנים כאילו שאנחנו נוסעים בתוך ענן וכאשר הגענו היה ממש ריח מסריח ומוזר באוויר.

היו שם סלעי בזלת וסלעים בשלל צבעים. אמא הסבירה לנו שהם סלעים געשיים מהתפרצות מאגמה שזה חומר סלעי נוזלי שנמצא מעטפת כדור הארץ ומכיל כל מיני חומרים חמים מאוד ושבעצם זה קורה גם היום וזה מה שיוצר את הנזילות הרותחות של המים ואת אדי הגופרית החמים והריח.

לבשנו בגדי ים ונכנסנו. המים היו ממש חמים ולא רציתי לצאת אבל יצאתי כי זה לא בריא יותר מ-5 דקות לילדים. אחותי אריאל חטפה בחילה מהריח אז היא גם יצאה דיי מהר ונכנסה לאוטו. אני נשארתי בחוץ עם נועם כמה דקות כדי לא להסריח את האוטו אבל בסוף היה לנו קר אז נכנסנו לאוטו. אמא ואבא שלי נשארו במים עוד כמה דקות ואז יצאו.

פגשנו שם איש יווני שסיפר לנו שהוא דואג שהמקום יהיה יפה ונקי, אבא שלי קנה ממנו שתי ריבות תוצרת בית ועלים לתה כדי לעזור לו.

בדרך הביתה עצרנו לאכול כי ממש היינו רעבים אני אכלתי צ'יפס. גמרנו לאכול והמשכנו לנסוע הביתה. כאשר חזרנו הביתה התקלחנו והלכנו לישון. זה היה יום ממש ארוך וכייף.

Loutra Thermopilon spring

Recently my mom and dad told us that there are hot springs "Loutra Thermopilon" next to Lamia not far from where we live.

We waited for a sunny day because we did not know if the water would really be hot because outside it was really chilling about 10 degrees on the way we saw full of white steam as if we were traveling in a cloud and when we arrived there was a really strange smell in the air.

There were basalt rocks and rocks in a variety of colors. Mom explained to us that they are volcanic rocks from a magma eruption which is a liquid rocky substance that is found in the Earth's mantle and contains all kinds of very hot substances and that actually happens even today and this is what creates the boiling liquidity of water and the hot sulfur fumes and odor.

We put on our swimsuits and went inside. The water was really hot and I did not want to go out but I went out because it is not healthy more than 5 minutes for children. My sister Arielle got nauseous from the smell so she also got out pretty quickly and got in the car. I stayed outside with Noam for a few minutes for not to stink the car but in the end it was too cold for us so we got in the car. My mom and dad stayed in the water for a few more minutes and then left.

We met a local Greek man there who told us that he made sure the place was nice and clean, my dad bought from him two homemade jams and tea leaves to help him.

On the way home we stopped to eat because we were really hungry I ate chips. We finished eating and continued on our way home. When we got home we took a shower and went to sleep. It was a really long and fun day
