ההחלטה "לשלוף" את שלושת הילדים מנוף ילדות בית הספר המונטסורי בהם למדו ב 5 שנים האחרונות היתה החלטה ממש קלה, אנחנו מאוד היינו מרוצים מבית הספר ומהחינוך וידענו שלילדים יש אין ספור כלים ללימוד עצמאי, סקרנות, רצון לגלות ולחקור.

האמנו שהכל יהיה בסדר, נסתדר בחינוך ביתי וגם נשלח אותם פה ושם לסימסטר או שניים בבתי ספר בעולם.

התמזל מזלנו ובזכות הקורונה נחשפנו להמון אמצעי לימוד און ליין ואשמח להמליץ לכם על כמה שאנחנו השתמשנו בהם:

אתר גלים לילדי גן-ח מבית סנונית של האוניברסיטה העברית ללימוד כל מקצועות הליבה ועוד.

אזמרגד אתר דפי עבודה לילדים, בית הספר און ליין של y-net , אתר המשחקים של הפיקסלונים ללימוד חשבון וגאומטריה, מכון וויצמן למדע שהוא אחד האתרים האהובים על אמיתי.

מאוד אהבנו לתת לילדים נושאים לחקור יחד או לחוד. בסוף המשימה הם היו צריכים להמחיש מה שהבינו ולמדו בכל דרך שרצו לדוגמא הצגה,הרצאה, ציור, משחק,חידות, ייצירה ועוד..

אאוריקה האנציקלופדיה הכי מגניבה לקטנים וגדולים. השתמשנו בה המון להבין ולחקור מגוון נושאים תוך כדי תנועה וטיול יכולנו להתחיל בנושא אחד ולהמשיך ממנו למלא נושאים. האתר נגיש, מזמין ומאוד מסקרן..

גוגל lens – ללא ספק המצאת השנה, אפשר לסרוק כל דבר כמעט ולדעת מה זה. אנחנו סרקנו צמחים, בעלי חיים, אומנות ועוד. זו אפליקצית חובה קראנו לה " החבר הטלפוני" כמו זה שיודע תמיד את התשובה בחידוני טריוויה.

הילדים אוהבים מאוד את התוכניות המלמדות של ערוץ כאן 11 חינוכית: גלילאו שמרתקת אותם וחושפת אותם לידע רב בינלאומי, אבודים בריבוע על מתמטיקה,פיזיקה ומדע, מתחת לעור על גוף האדם, שוסטר ושוסטר שעושה חיבורים ומלמדת מגוון נושאים.

היסטוריה לילדים, אבא למה? אייך העולם עובד, המעבדה לילדות וילדים, המובן מאליו ועוד..

ובנוסף לכל רכשנו מגוון חוברות עבודה תואמות גיל למקומות שבהם האינטרנט לא מושלם

בנינו תוכנית יומית, בכל יום השקענו כשעתיים לפחות ללמידה, זה יכול היה להיות בחוברת או בדפי עבודה, בהרצאה, בקריאה, בהאזנה, הרבה חקר ולימוד עצמאי על הדרך או כמו שקראנו לזה "לימוד דרך אגב" . הילדים נהנו מהלימוד וגם אנחנו למדנו על הדרך כמה דברים חדשים.

Homeschooling

The decision to "pull" the children out of the Montessori school where they studied in the last 5 years was a really easy decision, we were very pleased with the school and the education and knew that the children have countless tools for independent learning, curiosity, desire to discover and explore.

We believed that everything would be fine, we would manage in homeschooling and also send them here and there for a semester or two in schools around the world.

We were lucky and thanks to the corona we were exposed to a lot of online learning tools and I would be happy to recommend you how many we used:

Galim website for kindergarten children from of the Hebrew University for learning all the core subjects and more.

Emerald Kids Worksheets Site, y-net's online school, Pixels' arithmetic and geometry games site, Weizmann Institute of Science which is one of Amitai's favorite sites.

We really liked to let the children explore topics together or separately. At the end of the assignment, they had to illustrate what they understood and learned in any way they wanted, for example a play, lecture, drawing, game, puzzles, creation and more.

Eureka The coolest encyclopedia for young and old. We used it a lot to understand and explore a variety of topics while moving, we could start with one topic and continue from it to different topics. The site is accessible, inviting and very intriguing.

Google lens – without a doubt the invention of the year, you can scan almost anything and know what it is. We scanned plants, animals, art and more. This is a must-have app we called "my phone friend" like the one who always knows the answer in trivia quizzes.

The kids really like the educational programs of kankids Channel: Galileo that fascinates them and exposes them to multi-international knowledge, lost in the square about math, physics and science, under the skin of the human body, Schuster and Schuster making essays and teaching a variety of topics.

We took advantage of the long journeys to listen to a variety of podcasts The kids most loved the educational Kan 11 ones: History for children, Dad, why? How the world works, the laboratory for girls and boys, the obvious and more ..

And on top of all that we have purchased a variety of age-appropriate workbooks for places where the internet is not perfect

We built a daily program, each day we invested at least two hours in learning, it could have been in a booklet or worksheets, lecture, reading, listening, a lot of independent research and learning along the way or as we called it “learning by the way”. The children enjoyed the study and we also learned some new things along the way.

We will soon arrive in Thailand where we plan to enrolled them for two semesters in British-Cambridge schools.
