לאחר חודש בחבל הארץ המופלא, החלטנו להמשיך בתנועה.ההתלבטות הייתה בין נסיעה לאזור הצפוני איואנינה או לאזור וולוס. איואנינה ירדה מהפרק, האזור הוכרז אדום מקורונה ולכן האזור הנבחר היה חצי האי פליון.
חיפשנו דירה באזור לאורך החופים בנקודה בה יהיה נוח לצאת לטיולים בסביבה, בסופו של דבר מצאנו דירה המתאימה לצרכינו בעיירה אלמירוס. לאזור ניתן להגיע בשתי דרכים האחת באוטוסטרדה לכיוון אתונה ומשם לכיוון פיליון והשנייה הדרך המועדפת עלינו, דרכים צדדיות דרך הכפרים, ההרים ולחצות את הפלופונז
עברנו דרך העיר פטרס Patras – העיר השלישית בגדולה ביוון. העיר הוקמה 1000 שנה לפנה"ס והיא קרויה על שמו של פטרס מנהיג שלושת השבטים שכבשו את האזור. לאורך שנים היה האזור חקלאי עד הגעת הרומאים שהפכו אותה לעיר נמל מרכזית וכך היא משמשת עד היום.
עצרנו את רכבנו בסמוך לטיילת. יצאנו לשוטט עם קפה לאורכה. המקום היה עמוס בחברה צעירים שעסקו בשלל פעילויות ספורט, יצאנו גם אנחנו להליכה קצרה, לנשום אוויר טוב וליהנות מהשמש החורפית
משם המשכנו בנסיעה לחציית מפרץ קורניטוס לצד השני של היבשה. הדרך עוברת מעל הגשר המופלא ריו-אנטריו, ששמו ע"ש שני הערים משתי קצוותיו. הגשר נחשב ליצירת מופת ארכיטקטונית והנדסית בשל ההתגברות המתוחכמת שנעשתה בבנייתו ועל הקשיים הרבים שעמדו בפני מהנדסי הגשר כדוגמת -התרחבות מפרץ קורינתוס עקב תזוזת לוחות טקטוניים ומים מאוד עמוקים. למרות מסלולו הקצר של הגשר המשתרע לאורך 2282מ' החלטנו לנסוע לאט ולבחון את עוצמתו והנוף המשתרע ממנו. המשך הנסיעה עברה בין ערים,כפרים נופי ים המתחלפים לצוקי הרים. בהמשך הדרך עוברים בעיר דלפי-Delfi שידועה בעולם היווני כמקום מושבו של האורקל גם נמצאת אבן האומפאלוס, שהיא מרכז כדור הארץ והיקום. ביקור באתר העתיקות מומלץ ומיוחד. משם המשכנו בנסיעה לייעדנו, הנסיעה ארכה כ-6 שעות עד שהגענו לעיירה אלמירוס-Almiros , הנמצאת במחוז טסאלי. עיירה קטנה שקטה ויש בה הכול. מצאנו את הבית ולאחר שהתמקמנו ,יצאנו לקניות למלא את המקרר בכל טוב היווני

A month after in the wonderful region , we decided to move on. The dilemma was between north the Ioannina region or the Volos region. Ioannina dropped out beacuse of the episode the area was declared red. Therefore, the chosen area was the Pelion . We were looking for an apartment in the area along the beaches at a point where it be convenient to travel around , in the end we found an apartment that suited our needs in the town of Almiros. There are two ways to reached the destination . One, on the highway towards Athens and from there towards Pelion . The second, is our favorite way, through the villages and the mountains.
To pass the Peloponnese needed to drive through the last city, Patras – the third largest city in Greece. The city was founded 1000 BC, and is named after the leader of the three tribes that conquered the area. For years the area was maintain by agricultural until the Romans arrival, who made it a major port city from then till present. We stopped our car near the promenade. we saw many Young people busy with sports activities. We went for a short walk, to breathe clean air and enjoy the winter sun.
Later on we continued our journey across the island to the mainland. The road passes over the magnificent Rio-Antirio Bridge, named after the two cities at both ends. The bridge that stretches along 2282 m We decided to drive slowly and enjoy its intensity and the view that surround it. The rest of the trip passed between cities, villages and sea views that was change into mountain cliffs. Along the way you pass the city of Delphi (which was known in the old Greek as the site of the Ophalus stone, which is the center of the earth and the universe). We are recommend to visit the Antiquities Site . our journey took about 6 hours until we reached the town of Almiros , located in Tesali province. A quiet little town that has it all. We found the house and after settling in, we went shopping to fill the fridge with all the Greek goodies.
