יצאנו ליוון ב1/11 בתקופה שבין סגר לסגר. נמל התעופה היה ריק והאמת שזה היה מראה מעט עצוב, זה דווקא היה לטובתנו כי הכל עבר מהר מאוד ותוך שעה וארבעים כבר נחתנו באתונה.

את האוטו השכור הזמנו מהארץ מחברת ACR היוונית השירות טוב, מחירים טובים הכוללים את כל היקף הביטוח. נציג החברה חיכה לנו באולם היציאה, שם גם רכשנו סים מקומי של Vodafone, העמסנו את כל התיקים בבגאז, הפעלנו פלייליסט עברי איכותי ויצאנו לדרך מנווטים ע"י וויז. החלטנו לנסוע ישירות לפלופונז לדירה ב-TOLO כשעתיים וחצי על הכביש המהיר.

טולו – כפר קטן היושב למרגלות הר בין שני מפרצי ים שקט, מים נקיים חמימים ורדודים ומקבץ איים קטנים במרכז. הכפר יפיפה והנוף מאלף מכל נקודת תצפית. את הכפר חוצה רחוב הראשי שופע במסעדות ,ברים, בתי קפה, בשוטטות קלה תוכלו לשמוע מגוון רחב של שפות. נצלנו את השהות להליכה ברחובות, עשינו תחרויות ריצה בעליות התלולות וכל יום חמים דאגנו לפקוד את חוף הים. בעיירה יש היצע רחב של מקומות לינה, הכפר אינו גדול ולכן כל מקום לינה אינו רחוק ממרכז העיירה ומחוף הים.

אנחנו אוהבים בתי דירות עם מטבחון, נהגנו לקנות מצרכים בסופר המקומי ולעשות בכל בוקר ארוחה יוונית, עם הרבה גבינה פטה ושמן זית.

בערבים יצאנו לטברנות המקומיות לאכול אוכל יווני משובח, לביבות זוקיני, מוסקה, ציזיקי, ג'ירוס, טירופיתה( מאפה גבינות) ובשר איכותי. ב Taverna Akrogiali ו Tsiros Taverna

The Wonderful Peloponnese Part 1

We left for Greece on 1/11 in the period between closedowns. The airport was empty and the truth is that it was a bit of a sad sight, it was actually in our favor because everything passed very quickly and within hour and forty minuets we had already landed in Athens.

Rental car we ordered in Israel from the Greek company ACR good service, good prices that include the entire parts of insurance. A company representative was waiting for us in the departure hall, where we also purchased a local Vodafone SIM, loaded all the bags, played a quality Hebrew playlist and set off navigating by Wise.

Tolo – a small village sitting at the foot of a mountain between two quiet bays, warm warm and shallow clean water and a cluster of small islands in the center. The village is beautiful and the view is instructive from every vantage point. The village is crossed by a main street full of restaurants, bars, cafes, with a light stroll as opposed to hearing a wide variety of languages. We took advantage of the stay to walk the streets, did running competitions on the steep ascents and every hot day we made sure to frequent the beach. The town has a wide supply of accommodation, the village is not large any accommodation not far from the town center and the beach.

We love apartment houses with kitchenettes, we used to buy groceries at the local supermarket and make every morning a Greek meal, with lots of feta cheese and olive oil.

In the evenings we went out to the local taverns to eat fine Greek food, zucchini pancakes, mozzarella, Tiziki, gyros, Tirofita (cheese pastry) and quality meat. In Taverna Akrogiali and Tsiros Taverna
